Finding strength when your best feels like your worst

Cianna Mude

I AM looking down at the book, trying to read and understand, but I just cannot comprehend it.

I look up and listen to the teacher, but again, it feels like a losing game.

I look around and see the smartest learners doing their best, while my best feels like my worst.

Exams are coming and you want to give up, but you know you cannot.

You can make it, not for anyone else, but for yourself.

This is your story.

The confusion you are feeling is just a distraction.

Look down and read again. Look up and listen to your teacher, and this time, believe in yourself, because no one else will do it for you.

You will only survive if the fire inside you is greater than the one around you.
