Award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter Fireboy DML (born Adedamola Adefolahan), best known for chart-topping hits Peru, Vibration and Jealous, is set to headline the Miss Universe Zimbabwe grand finale on Saturday.
The highly anticipated pageant, which will see 18 contestants competing for top honours and a chance to represent Zimbabwe on the international stage, is expected to blend beauty, fashion and entertainment in a spectacular showcase.

Joining the stellar line-up will be one of Zimbabwe’s most celebrated musicians, Jah Prayzah, who is also set to perform at the event, adding local star power to the glamorous evening.
Further elevating the profile of the pageant will be the presence of former Miss Universe and South African media personality Zozibini Tunzi, who will serve as one of the event’s MCs alongside local, Yahya Goodvibes. Tunzi is expected to arrive in Zimbabwe on Thursday, where she will engage with contestants ahead of the finale.
Fireboy DML has emerged as one of Africa’s most influential contemporary artistes, earning international acclaim for his distinctive “Afro-Life” sound, a soulful blend of Afro-beats, R&B and pop music.

The singer first captured global attention with his 2019 breakout hit Jealous, before cementing his place among Africa’s biggest music exports through a string of successful releases. His worldwide smash hit Peru, later remixed with British superstar Ed Sheeran, introduced him to an even broader international audience and helped solidify his reputation as one of the leading voices of the Afrobeats movement.
His inclusion on the Miss Universe Zimbabwe entertainment roster is expected to add significant excitement to the pageant, which has attracted widespread attention this year due to its expanded format that will see multiple national queens crowned.
