WHEN the reigning Bulawayo Social Soccer Champions Man U play the favourites for the crown this year Stars FC, the clash is always explosive.
Today the teams will lock horns for their second and final league meeting at the home of Stars.
Coming into this game Stars have their tails up after coming out the best team in Pool A with a number of games to spare.
This win secured them a place in the most prestigious cup in the league the Champion of Champions tournament set for December.
Even though the final is yet to come Stars are already basking in glory according to their secretary-general Linda Bhebhe.
“As of now we still basking in glory, we are in full swing celebratory mode though we are still taking all the remaining games seriously as we don’t want to taint our unbeaten run,” said Bhebhe.
Looking ahead, she believes the biggest challenge is yet to come.
“It’s rather a big challenge considering that they are tougher teams than previous years however, it’s all eyes on all the glory,” added Bhebhe.
On the other hand Man U who have blown hot and cold this year seem to have found their groove after embarrassing Cowdray Park Masters 6-2 last week.
“The championship is gone but pride is at stake and we are fighting to finish in a respectable position,” Mlamuli Phakathi Man U official said.
“However, we will take it like any other game where we socialise and have fun,” he added.
In Pool B run away log leaders Delta will be joining Stars soon if they continue winning like they have done since day one.
