A SUSPECTED robber has appeared in court on allegations of being part of a gang of five that robbed a Harare company of US$238 000.
Kennedy Mbundire (28) was remanded in custody to February 28 and was told only the High Court could grant bail in his case.
It is the State’s case that Mbundire, who was in the company of four others still at large, approached a company security officer on duty and held him up with an unidentified pistol.
The security guard was held while the gang broke into the companya premises, ground open the safes and stole US$238 000 which they shared among themselves.
