First Lady mourns 16 killed in Bulawayo–Beitbridge road tragedy

It is with profound sorrow and deep sadness that I have learnt of the tragic road traffic accident which occurred yesterday along the Bulawayo–Beitbridge Road, claiming the lives of 16 precious souls.

As a mother, I extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved families who have been plunged into unimaginable grief by this devastating loss.

No words can truly comfort those who have lost loved ones in such sudden and painful circumstances, but I pray that God grants them strength, peace, and comfort during this difficult time.

To the injured, I wish a speedy and full recovery, and I commend the emergency services and medical personnel who responded swiftly and continue to provide care and support to those affected.

As a nation, we must continue to work together to prevent such heartbreaking incidents and protect the sanctity of human life.
