BULAWAYO Metropolitan Cricket Association First League teams are in action at Queens Sports Club as they battle to earn the sole ticket to play against a team from Harare in a Twenty20 challenge to be played in the capital city on 13 October.

The four Bulawayo teams are playing at Queens Sports Club on Saturday and Sunday with the top side progressing to play in the Twenty20 contest in Harare that is sponsored by Zimbabwe Pharmaceuticals, a company where Zimbabwe Cricket chairman Tavengwa Mukuhlani is the general manager.

Queens Sports Club and Emakhandeni will be the first to take to the field on Saturday with last season’s BMCA First League 50 over champions Bulawayo Athletic Club the next up when they square off against National University of Science and Technology (Nust).
