The assessment is being done together with co-operating development partners under the ambit of the Zimbabwe Vulnerability Assessment Committee. Masvingo provincial administrator Mr Felix Chikovo on Friday said the assessment teams had already started in the province with the programme expected to be completed by May 10.
He also said the vulnerability assessment was also being done in other provinces across the country after crop failure induced by poor and erratic rains. Mr Chikovo said Government and its development partners were spearheading the programme.
“Teams have already been deployed in all the seven districts in Masvingo.”
