New entertainment hub, Food Nest at Longcheng Plaza is bringing rhumba music to its patrons through hosting Diamond Musica at the place every Friday.
The rhumba group will begin its weekly slots at the place tomorrow and they are expected to serenade fans at the place for the next six months.
A spokesperson of Food Nest said they will host a number of programmes targeted at people of various backgrounds.
“We have people of various backgrounds that come to our place and we want to bring programmes that appeal to people of various backgrounds. Rhumba is a common genre for people from Central and Southern Africa and it will be our starting point. Music transcends many boundaries and we want people to be united through entertainment at our place,” said the spokesperson.
Daimond Musica leader Pitshou Lumiere said they are happy to be part of the music programme at Food Nest.
“We have performed at the place and we were happy with the response. We want to take our music to another level and we also want to bring people to enjoy together. It is our wish to see people of various backgrounds being united through music. We are happy to have slots that will appeal to many people,” said Lumiere.
Food Nest is becoming popular for local traditional dishes and foreign cuisines that have made it a prime choice for many diners. The place is also known for its ambiance that has attracted top class clients.
