Former Chegutu West Member of Parliament Dexter Nduna has been arrested for obstruction of justice.

He is expected to appear in court on Wednesday facing charges of threatening to unleash dogs on a Messenger of Court who wanted to attach his property for an outstanding debt of US$41,000.

Nduna is currently detained at Kadoma Central Police Station under case Cr43/1/26.

According to the allegations, he obstructed the Messenger of Court from attaching his Toyota Fortuner as per the court order.

When the Messenger of Court attempted to carry out the court order, Nduna reportedly threatened to unleash his dogs, forcing the Messenger of Court to retreat.

After the incident, the Messenger left the scene.

However, Nduna subsequently made a counter report against the Messenger of Court at the same police station.
