Four armed robbers get away with car and a television set

Armed robbers hit a car sales company attacking a security guard, before getting away with a car and television set.

According to a post on X (formerly Twitter) Police in Zimbabwe said the armed robbery occurred in Avondale, Harare.

“Police in Avondale are investigating an armed robbery case which occurred at a local car sale in Avondale in which four armed male adults attacked a security guard on duty with an identified type of pistol,” posted the Police.

After attacking the security guard the four armed robbers went on to steal a Toyota Fortuner.

“The suspects broke into the office were they took car keys of a white Toyota Fortuner motor vehicle, registration number AGC 3117 and one television set which they loaded into the motor vehicle and drove away. Anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station,” said the Police on X .
