Multi-award-winning DJ and songstress Zandimaz is glamming things up in the City of Kings — and it’s not with a new track, but with a brand-new beauty shop!

The South Africa-based, Zimbabwe-born hit-maker is about to open the doors to her latest business baby, Glam Room by Zandimaz, in Bulawayo next month. From mixing beats to mixing serums — she’s proving there’s more to her game than music.

“This is a milestone achievement for me,” said DJ Zandimaz.

“As an artiste, transitioning into business is an exciting new chapter.”

The Emathandweni hit-maker isn’t just brushing the surface — she’s diving head-first into the beauty game. Earlier this year, she teamed up with Vivanté, a top-tier South African cosmeceutical brand, to launch an exclusive skincare line right here in Bulawayo.

“Having my own beauty range has been in the works for a long time, and finally seeing it come to life is so exciting and humbling,” she said.

And she’s not playing small. Her line includes everything from antioxidants and scrubs to weight-loss supplements and aftershave for men.

“The range includes supplements for skin health, weight management, immune support, better sleep, and gut health. I also have serums, lotions, and face creams,” she added.

Her move mirrors a rising trend among creatives, especially post-Covid, where many are building business empires alongside their artistic careers.

From DJ Zinhle’s Era watch line and Hair Majesty extensions to Zandimaz’s glow-up plans, the stars are stacking more than just music awards.

But it’s not a total goodbye to music.

“I’ll be back in the studio in a few days,” she revealed.

“I’ve been focused on the business side of things, but that chapter is almost over. I have some new music lined up that I hope will be warmly received by my fans, who have always supported me.”

With beats in one hand and beauty in the other, DJ Zandimaz is showing that when queens build empires, they do it fabulously!
