Afro-contemporary outfit Fusion 5 Mangwiro behind the hit, Kuhope, has become the latest local act to join Feli Nandi’s highly anticipated Fill Up HICC concert, set for August 14, as the singer continues to build a star-studded line-up for the historic show.

With the countdown to the concert gathering momentum, Feli Nandi has been unveiling supporting acts through a series of creative social media activations, introducing artistes who will share the stage with her at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC).
Fusion 5 Mangwiro’s inclusion was announced in a video posted on social media, which featured Feli Nandi performing the group’s hit song Kuhope alongside its members before confirming they would be part of the concert.
The group has established itself as one of Zimbabwe’s leading Afro-fusion acts, earning acclaim for songs such as Kuhope, Ronda and Rhaka Rhaka.
Since releasing their eight-track debut album, Mixed Feelings, in October 2022, Fusion 5 Mangwiro has steadily built its profile through a string of singles and extended projects, cementing its place on the local music scene.
The group now joins a growing list of Zimbabwean artistes who have been confirmed for the concert, including Tamy Moyo and Mr Putiti, as Feli Nandi continues to rally local talent behind what is shaping up to be one of the year’s biggest live music events.
The Fill Up HICC concert has attracted widespread attention as Feli Nandi bids to become the first Zimbabwean female musician to fill the prestigious venue, a feat that would mark a significant milestone in the country’s music industry.
