A HEARING impaired man who also cannot speak has been arrested together with his two colleagues for killing a 48-year-old man.
Mombeshora (33), Shrine Kamusoko (31), and Simbarashe (hearing impaired) allegedly assaulted Lloyd Dongo with an iron bar. The incident occurred in a sports bar at Unit M Shopping Centre, Chitungwiza on 14 July 2023.
Dongo died the following day upon admission to a local hospital in Chitungwiza. Taking to Twitter, police said, ”Police in Harare have arrested Witness Mombeshora (33), Shrine Kamusoko (31) and Simbarashe (he is deaf and dumb) in connection with a case of murder in which Lloyd Dongo (48) died on 15/07/23 whilst admitted at a local hospital in Chitungwiza after being hit with an iron bar on 14/07/23 at a sports bar at Unit M Shopping Centre, Chitungwiza. The victim had attempted to rescue his friend who was being attacked by the suspects. The other suspect only identified as Simba is on the run,” read the tweet.
