Gango: A mixture of meats

 

Gango, is a blend of different kinds of meats simmered to perfection with leafy greens.

 

Experience the richness, tenderness and freshness in one pot, there is no right or wrong with this dish, you can use any kind of meat you like and any kind of leafy greens.

It’s known for its smoky flavour from being cooked over an open flame.

 

Ingredients:

Pork belly/beef cut into bite size pieces

Chicken pieces

Sausages cut into bite size pieces

Ox liver cut into bite-size pieces

Cooking oil

Salt to taste

1 medium onion finely chopped

2 large tomatoes

 

Bundle covo or rape veggies, chopped

 

Recipe:

Get your ingredients together

Heat oil in a pan and add the meat that takes long to cook first in the pan.

 

Fry until beginning to brown and continue to add the other pieces of meat.

You can season with your favourite seasoning (optional).

Add salt and onion and fry for a few minutes.

Add tomato and cook for 3 – 5 minutes or until the tomatoes are well cooked.

 

Add veggies and cook for another 5 min.

 

Taste for seasoning and adjust accordingly.
