WARRIORS defender Munashe Garananga has joined Danish Superliga side Lyngby Boldklub on loan from FC Copenhagen for the remainder of the 2026/27 season.
The 25-year-old centre-back completed the move on Wednesday in search of regular playing time after opportunities became limited at Copenhagen.
“I am very happy to have arrived here at Lyngby, and I am looking forward to getting to know the squad and technical team better,” Garananga told the club’s website.
“It is going to be an exciting season in the Danish Superliga, and I look forward to helping the team finish as high up the table as possible.” Lyngby sporting director Nicas Kjeldsen believes the Zimbabwe international has the qualities to make an immediate impact. “He is a physically strong player who is extremely good in duels, while he also brings experience from a high international level,” said Kjeldsen. “Those are some of the qualities we have been looking for, and when the opportunity to loan him from FC Copenhagen arose, it was one we wanted to take. “We have acquired a player with proven ability and qualities we believe can make an immediate difference. We believe this is a very good solution for both Munashe and Lyngby Boldklub.”
