Geo Pomona Waste Management said it has officially started street sweeping in Harare.

In an interview, Geo Pomona Waste Management public relations and marketing manager, Ms Siphathisiwe Masuku, said this marks another major step in its efforts to enhance cleanliness and improve the city’s environment.

“To support this initiative, the company has also procured 300 push carts dedicated to street sweeping activities,” she said.

Harare mayor, Councillor Jacob Mafume, told Zimpapers Online that the move is part of a public-private partnership with Geo Pomona Waste Management.
