SEASONED body-builder Beloved George is confident of taking his current form to the Harare Classic scheduled for this weekend.
George, who has won four titles this year, is hopeful of winning the Men’s Fitness Physique in the Harare Classic.
After coming second to Paul Bako last year, the Harare based hulk said he is happy to be contesting in the Harare Classic which he is looking forward to win.
“I am ready for the challenge and I am hopeful that I will win. This year I won four consecutive shows which gives me confidence. I first won the fitness physique in April and went on to win the World Fitness Federation Midlands Classic as well as winning the Men’s Sports Model in Gweru as well before I won the WWF Kings and Queens Grand men’s sports model as well. “I am ready to face Paul Bako at Harare Classic next week. As the defending champion Bako should brace for a tough challenge after I was runner-up last year.
“I managed to out stage several athletes this year I am now looking forward to do well again,” said George.
Meanwhile, the body-builder has called on young athletes to take the sport seriously and stay away from drugs and substance abuse.
“I want to encourage young body-builders to join body-building and fitness industry because it is good for health. The sport is growing. “Body-building has helped me to start Beloved Fitness Sports Wear which provides t-shirts, shorts, joggers, hoodie jackets and sweaters,” said George.
