GHETTO FABULOUS, one of the leading music promotion companies in Harare, will this Friday host a show at Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex to celebrate a decade in music. The show will feature Alick Macheso, Peter Moyo, Tryson Chimbetu and Jah Prayzah. Chris Musabayana of Ghetto Fabulous said there was no better way to celebrate successful years in business than to throw a massive gig that features prominent musicians.

“We are celebrating 10 years in the entertainment business. Everything is now in place and we are just waiting for the day to come. We are not going to have only guys on the posters, more artistes will perform. We have surprise artistes in our line-up,” he said.

Macheso is undoubtedly the most experienced artiste to perform on the night and the fact that he is performing at Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex from where he rehearses makes him the major drawcard.

Over the years, Macheso has staged memorable gigs at the venue.
What is more interesting is that the sungura ace will sample some of the songs on his forthcoming album set for release before the end of this year.

The musician has been sampling some of the songs at his recent shows among them the controversial track “Anebhora Ndiye Anomakwa”.
Ever since unleashing his debut album “Mushonga Mukuru”, Peter Moyo’s stock has been rising and is knocking heavily on the doors of success.

Judging from his recent shows, the Young Igwe, as he is fondly known, has managed to win the hearts of many fans.
Tryson Chimbetu has also evolved into a complete musician.

His album “Compass”, has catapulted him to stardom with the song “Pahotera” that he did with Oliver Mtukudzi being the most played in watering holes and pubs.

Jah Prayzah is a musician in the league of his own. He has managed to blend his music with sungura, reggae and jazz to come up with a unique genre that is soothing and refreshing.

His military drills during live performances have endeared him with fans.
With a line-up of these most sought after musicians in the country, the gig promises to be a thriller and what a way of celebrating 10 years promoting music for Ghetto Fabulous.
