Super Six Group 2 match – England vs New Zealand

England and New Zealand are battling it out in the 34th match of the 2026 ICC Men’s U-19 World Cup at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

New Zealand have won the toss and elected to field first.

England are currently sitting second in Group B of the Super Six while New Zealand is on number two in the same group.

Afghanistan is taking on Ireland in a Group One Super Six match at Harare Sports Club.

Afghanistan has won the toss and elected to bat first.

Afghanistan is looking nothing short of a victory to keep their hopes alive to clinch a semi-final spot in this year’s edition of the ICC Men’s U-19 World Cup. They are currently sitting third on the standings.

Ireland, who are in contention for a semi-final spot, having lost three of their Group One Super Six matches and will be looking for a consolation win.

Zimbabwe crash out of World Cup

Zimbabwe’s campaign in the 2026 ICC Men’s U-19 World Cup has come to an end after they lost the last Super Six match to Bangladesh by 74 runs.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first and went on to set Zimbabwe a target of 255 runs to win.

Despite Zimbabwe putting up a good fight, the co-hosts of the tournament were bowled out for 179 runs.

Simbabrashe Mudzengere led the chase with a 70 run score from 121 balls, while Shelton Mazvitorera scored 42 off 42.
