“CALL unto me in prayer and I will answer you. I will show you great and unsearchable things you do not know about.” — Jeremiah 33:3
In a place of prayer, God can reveal the unsearchable things we are yet to unpack. This scripture shows the impact of prayer and the revelation of unsearchable things through communion with God.
When we engage in prayer, we are tapping into a divine connection that has the potential to reveal mysteries and insights beyond our human understanding.
These days, many of God’s people are discouraged, despondent and filled with doubt. This ought not to be the case, for discouragement always comes from the devil. Despondency paralyses us; it disconnects us from useful service. Additionally, doubt dishonours the Lord.
Before prayer, things may seem impossible but not after we pray.
Jeremiah 33:3 is one of the great prayer promises in the Bible, where the word “unsearchable” may be translated to “hidden”, “fenced in” or “hard”. The Lord loves to answer hard prayers.
In every situation and circumstance, God invites us to pray. And He promises to answer our prayers. What a hard thing it was, humanly speaking, to give Abraham and Sarah a child!
Biologically, it was impossible, yet their prayer was answered.
How hard it was for Abraham’s servant to find just the right bride for Isaac in Genesis 24:1-67, yet God answered prayers by leading Eliezer to choose Rebekah!
How hard it was, humanly speaking, for fire to fall upon the altar, but it was not too hard for the Lord, and Elijah’s prayer was abundantly answered! (Kings 18:17-41)
This shows that things happen in the “prayer room” first; and God answers prayer.
As long as we pray, our God cannot disappoint.
There is no prayer too hard for the Lord to answer.
There are men and women who lived on planet earth who relied on prayer and God did not disappoint. He is still in the business of answering prayers.
