“And I will place on his shoulder the key of the house of David; he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.” — Isaiah 22:22
Jesus holds the key.
Anyone with the key has control and authority over the house.
He determines when to open and when to lock it; who to open and close for.
This reminds me of Tanga Wekwa Sando’s song “Mahobho”.
In part, he sings: “Haungapapindi pano kana usati wati, please, Mahobho!”
This clearly shows that one who holds the key has the final say. In the life of a believer, it is Jesus who has the key. He has the final say in everything.
David knew this and openly declared in Psalm 118:6: “The Lord is on my side; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”
Apostle Paul believed the same, and confessed: “. . . If God is for us, who can be against us?” — Romans 8:31.
Christ holds the key to your breakthrough, your business, happiness, marriage, ministry and fruitfulness.
God holds the key to the parting of your “Red Sea”.
Yes, He holds the key to your next level in life.
From your Egypt to your Canaan, it is Him who holds the key. From your prison, oh Joseph, to your palace, God is holding the key.
When He opens a door, no one can close it. When He closes a door, no one can open it. When He says yes, no one can say no.
Whoever says no, that no will be null and void.
In the name of Jesus, the will of God will prevail in your life. His plans and purposes will be fulfilled.
