RHUMBA musician and dancer, Godolude, is immersed in the final stages of crafting his much-anticipated album, Walikhaba Walichaphisa, poised for release this November.

This musical masterpiece marks his sixth studio album, a testament to his enduring career and commitment to his craft. The album’s launch is a grand affair, with celebrations planned not only in his native Zimbabwe but also in South Africa and Botswana.

Walikhaba Walichaphisa follows in the illustrious footsteps of Godolude’s previous five albums, each a unique musical journey in its own right: Impilo luhambo, Dlalelani khatshana, Suk’emva kwami, Sphundu Awulamehlo, and i-TARGET.

Speaking to Chronicle Showbiz, Godolude said he hopes the album will be well received and will be danced to during the festive season.

“I am putting the final touches to my latest album that will have seven tracks namely Walikhaba Walichaphisa, Vumel’isimo, Bangiloyile, Manje Sengifikile, Sala Wedwa, Inja ethakathayo and Ukuba yindoda.

“The album talks about life in general that there are things which as humans we don’t have control over like being hated, loved or respected this we have to accept whatever comes our way,” said Godolude.
