GOLDEN Valley moved to the top of the ZIFA Northern Region Division One table after an impressive 3-0 win over Harare City Cubs at Rufaro on Saturday.

The gold miners are undefeated in the first five games of the season in which they have won three and drawn two of their matches.

Meanwhile, Harare Province Division 2A and B will have the finals of the Champion of Champions match pitting Tomplison and Big 5 at Danny Bismark this afternoon.

The match will see the winners pocketing $1 000.

Chairman of Harare Province Division Two A and B, Robert Tembo, said they were looking forward to a good final.

“We had the knockout stages and it was Tomplison and Big5 who managed to reach the final.

“Our aim is to give competition to the clubs and have strong sides. The two sides came a long way to be where they are now. The sides are competitive and to have such a tournament is good for the league,” said Tembo.
