Golfer Jack in superb form

The golfer, who recently turned professional, started his campaign to win the Lowveld Pro-Am at the Hippo Valley Golf Club.

Jack goes into today’s round leading second-laced Robson Saurombe by a single shot.
Mahommad Mandhu carded a 71.
In the amateur ranks Ben-Follet Smith is leading with a one-under gross score.

Smith is hopeful that he will improve in today’s round.
The amateur has given several professionals a run for their money.

“I hope to keep the same standard of play and improve on my putting. The game was good and it motivates me to play better tomorrow.
“I can not complain about my performance. Winning the tournament will be good for me as I have come second twice. I am now looking forward to tomorrow’s round at Hippo Valley, which had low scores today,” Smith said.

The tournament organisers were also impressed by the way the first round went.
Triangle Club captain Chris Ferris said they were happy with what happened on day one.

“We are very happy with the way this tournament is going.
“It is our mission to promote the sport,” said Ferris.
