DYNAMOS captain Emmanuel Jalai has formally announced his departure from the Harare giants after six years of loyal service to the club.

Reports say the 27-year-old 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer Star of the Year finalist is on the verge of joining Betway Premiership side Durban City.

Jalai took to social media to announce his departure from Dynamos, declaring that “my love for the club will never die.”

“After six years at Dynamos Football Club, now is the time to confirm that I’m leaving the club for new challenges. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me. Thank you for the love and support I’ve always felt, thank you for always having my back, especially during the hardest times,” said Jalai.

He said the honour of wearing the armband “of this great club” is a memory that will live with him forever.

“Seven million supporters, I will FOREVER remain one of you. Thank you so much to the coaches, teammates, staff and the seven million supporters for the last six years,” he said.

Jalai wished the Glamour Boys, who had a terrible 2025 season, a better showing this time around and in the years ahead.
