Harvest House Ministries will on Saturday hold a gospel concert for people living with disabilities, starting at 2PM.

The concert which will be held under the theme “Aspire to live beyond the challenges,” will see different artistes and gospel choirs including One Spirit, Crème Voices, Prudence Mabhena and Tehilla taking to the stage.

Award-winning broadcaster and motivational speaker Soneni Gwizi and musician Carlos Jiri have also been invited to grace the event as guests.

Sam “Bongo” Chokuda who is the director of the concert said: “the event is an awareness campaign that seeks to create an atmosphere that is bearable and comfortable for every human being while accommodating people living with disabilities in every public and private space.”

He encouraged people to attend the show at which entrance fee has been pegged at $2.

“I’m encouraging everyone to come and support us as we’ll be showing love to people with disabilities. The importance of the campaign is to show that disability is not a barrier, therefore all those who are living with disabilities must attend the event because they also have a right to an entertainment space like everyone else,” said Chokuda.

He said plans were underway to make the concert an annual event.
