Government delegation continues inspection of Bulawayo projects

THE Government-led tour of key development and legacy projects in Bulawayo enters its second dayon Wednesday, with the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Cde Judith Ncube, leading a delegation comprising Joint Operations Command (JOC) members, Government officials and stakeholders from various sectors.

The delegation is expected to visit a number of health, industrial and economic empowerment projects as part of efforts to assess progress, identify implementation challenges and determine completion timelines.

According to the programme, the team will tour Cure Children’s Hospital, the Timber Producers Federation of Zimbabwe (TICOZ), Mpilo Central Hospital, Ngozi Mine and selected vending sites across the city.

The visits are expected to provide Government officials with an opportunity to receive updates from project managers and implementing agencies while identifying areas requiring intervention to ensure timely delivery of projects and services.

The tour forms part of Government’s broader efforts to monitor strategic projects, improve service delivery and accelerate economic development in Bulawayo.
