Mr Mupazviriho said the Government was committed to empowering locals therefore all under utilised ground should be made productive.
“We are working under sanctions thus we need to come up with our own solutions to the liquidity challenges,” he said.
He said mining was given the task to resuscitate the economy hence there was need to increase production.
“If we work together and increase production, the 15 percent growth projected for 2012 will be achieved,” he said.
Mr Mupazviriho said the Government would, through the Mining Loan Fund, assist small-scale miners with working capital and equipment to grow the sector. — New Ziana.
