Greystone Park win schools gala

The competition had five schools taking part and it was Greystone Park who come out victorious.
Beatrice came second on 358 points in a tightly contested competition held on Friday while Lewisam, on 318 points settled for a third place and Lendy Park managed 292 points for fourth place finish.

Courtney Selous had140 points to complete the top five of the event.
Audrey Marwa, the marketing manager of the Pool Centre, who were involved in the gala, was happy that they have managed to prepare the young swimmers for inter-schools tournaments to be held next month.

“These galas are a platform of practice for most coaches ahead of the inter-schools meet next month. As the galas progress each tournament is always different in terms of competition. The feel and thrill are different each time,” she said.

But still exciting with competitors giving their all to be recognized at the top.

“Congratulations to all the participants and a big applause to the parents who are always present cheering their swimming superstars on.
“To the Greystone Park School Headmaster and his staff we say congratulations for a job well done. “The event was a success and the turnout is overwhelming,” Marwa said.
