ZIMBABWE’S corporate leaders are set to benefit from a rare opportunity this month as GrowWise Wealthy Builders brings its acclaimed CEO Workshop to Harare.

Scheduled for September 17, at the prestigious Jameson Hotel, the workshop promises to deliver actionable strategies for business growth, resilience and transformation amid Zimbabwe’s dynamic economic landscape.

Themed “Scaling Beyond Limits,” the exclusive workshop targets CEOs, entrepreneurs and senior executives navigating the complexities of Zimbabwe’s business environment.

With persistent economic fluctuations, regulatory uncertainty, and limited access to capital, many local businesses are seeking new approaches to sustain growth and attract investment.

Michael Tendai Watyoka, the workshop facilitator and an internationally recognized business strategist, explained the event’s significance:

“Zimbabwean business leaders are navigating some of the most complex and unpredictable conditions in Africa,” said Watyoka.

“This workshop is about equipping CEOs with practical tools to not only survive but thrive — by building resilient organisations, unlocking recurring revenue streams, and preparing their businesses for investment and sustainable expansion.”

The one-day intensive workshop, running from 10am to 4pm, will focus on three key areas:

– Growth Engines & Recurring Revenue: Strategies to build stable and scalable income channels in volatile markets.

– Leadership for Transformation: Cultivating adaptive and ethical leadership for organizational change and resilience.

– Building Investment-Ready Businesses: Preparing enterprises for local and international investment through strong governance, transparency, and scalability.

These themes reflect the pressing concerns of Zimbabwean business leaders, who must contend with currency instability, policy shifts, and the imperative to lead with integrity and adaptability.

Watyoka brings a wealth of experience from global finance, having contributed to Fortune 500 institutions such as Charles Schwab Investments, and UBS Wealth Management—organizations managing multi-trillion-dollar portfolios. His academic credentials include MBAs from both the University of Cumbria (UK) and Washington Adventist University (USA), along with numerous academic distinctions.

Beyond consulting, Watyoka is the author of Swimming in Murky Waters and Builders Who Scale, both available on Amazon. His practical insights are grounded in real-world experience and tailored to the realities of African markets.

“True leaders are not defined by the calmness of the waters they sail, but by their ability to swim when the tides turn murky,” he writes in Swimming in Murky Waters.

Workshops such as this have become increasingly vital in Zimbabwe, where executives must adapt quickly to ever-evolving market conditions. Events like the GrowWise CEO Workshop are seen as catalysts for sharing best practices, forging new partnerships, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Watyoka, who also holds roles as a product research specialist at World Education Services, ambassador at Mpower Finance, and board member of the Maryland Writers Association, is committed to empowering African leaders. He is the founder of GrowWise Wealthy Builders and the African Career Coaching Academy.

“Zimbabwe’s future will be shaped by leaders who are willing to embrace change, invest in their people, and build businesses that are not just profitable, but resilient and ethical. My goal is to share global best practices and localize them for Zimbabwe’s unique context. As I often say, ‘Scaling is not just about growing bigger; it’s about growing better, with systems that outlast the founder’s shadow.’ I look forward to working with Zimbabwe’s brightest minds to unlock new pathways for growth and transformation,” added Watyoka.

The workshop is open to business leaders eager to enhance their organisations’ resilience and investment readiness. Early registration is recommended due to limited availability.
