Gunners, Besiktas clash

LONDON. — Arsène Wenger believes that Arsenal’s experience in Europe will be crucial in their Champions League play-off against Besiktas tonight.
The match kicks-off at 8:45pm.
The Gunners have qualified for the group stages of the competition in each of the last 16 seasons and have the opportunity to do so again at Emirates Stadium tonight.
Last Tuesday’s first leg in Turkey finished goalless and Wenger is under no illusions as to the task facing his team.

“Besiktas played very well against us and we want to show them that we can play very well at home too,” the boss said.
“It’s a very important game because we want to play at the top level, on an international level. (It’s crucial) more on the sporting side than on the financial side.” — AFP.
