Gvt appoints National Arts Council Board

Government has in terms of Section 5(1) of the National Arts Council Act has appointed an eight-member National Arts Council Board.

Nozipo Maraire, Sabelo Maswauke, Hope Masike, Herbert Pikela, Marcus Gora, Herbert Pikela, Raphael Jomo, Alex Majachani, and Moffat Takadiwa are the new board members.

In a statement yesterday, Youth, Sport, Arts and Recreation Minister, Kirsty Coventry, said “May you please be advised that in terms of Section 5 Arts Council Act as read with the provisions of the Corporate Governance Act. These members have been appointed to the National Arts Council Board.”
