Gwinyai get ITF appointment

FORMER Zimbabwe Davis Cup player Gwinyai Tongoona has been appointed by the International Tennis Federation to coach the  Under-16 Southern Africa Team Tour  from 21 July to 11 August 2024.

Tennis Zimbabwe  has congratulated the High Performance Coach , Level Three (CHP), a former  Davis Cup player and  captain and former  ITF  Regional Development Centre High Performance Coach.

He is considered a legend and a success story of the late 1980s and 1990s Tennis Zimbabwe development programmes.

He represented Zimbabwe alongside Genius Chidzikwe, Vusa Khonza-Majola,  Kevin Ullyett, Byron and Wayne Black.
