MAKOKOBA-BRED football star Teenage Hadebe’s fine fashion taste won him the best-dressed player award at his United States of America top-flight side Houston Dynamo.
The Zimbabwean international, who is not shy to flaunt his expensive fashion style, won the best-dressed gong at a gala organised by his club last Thursday.

The 27-year-old Hadebe, who is in his second year at the American club, posted his trophy on his social media platforms with the caption: “Thanks fam.”
Hadebe, who won two awards in his debut season when he was voted by fans as the Houston Dynamo’s Defender of the Season and the Newcomer of the Season, has been an integral part of Dynamo helping the club avoid finishing at the bottom of the table in the 14-team Western Conference table.

The Zimbabwe international defender has made 22 appearances for his Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit, Houston Dynamo. He missed last night’s match against fourth-placed LA Galaxy as he is serving a suspension picked in last weekend’s 2-1 win against Nashville.

Hadebe made a surprise switch to Houston Texas from Turkey in June 2021, spurning other more lucrative deals, to become Dynamo’s most expensive player. He signed a US$1,65m deal for three years.

According to sportrac.com, Hadebe is his team’s second-highest-paid player with a guaranteed salary of US$1,1m per year, with 24-year-old Paraguay striker Sebastian Ferreira, signed at the beginning of the year, topping the earnings list at US$1,9m. —Follow on Twitter @ZililoR
