HAIR WE COME

WEST HAM have trolled hairy Manchester United superfan Frank Ilett after the club failed to make it five consecutive wins again.

The Red Devils were one win away from their fifth straight victory.

But Frank Ilett’s hair appointment was cancelled after his team drew 1-1 with the Hammers at the London Stadium on Tuesday night.

Tomas Soucek put the hosts ahead with a close-range finish, before Casemiro‘s header was ruled offside.

It wasn’t all doom and gloom for United who walked away with one point after substitute Benjamin Sesko struck in the depths of added time.

At the start of the TikTok, a clip of Soucek’s goal starts playing with Ilett’s voiceover in the background.

Seconds later, the video flicks between different West Ham players getting haircuts and grinning at the camera.

And to make matters worse for Ilett, 29, the post is captioned “Cancel the appointment” followed with scissors and a barbers sign emoji.

One fan said: “This is premium rage bait.”

While another said: “These trims will look sharp in the Championship.”

But it’s now been 496 days – or 16 months – since Ilett last cut his hair.

The challenge began in October 2024 when Erik ten Hag was at the helm.

Since then it has grown to 25cm and dragged through the whole of Ruben Amorim‘s tenure, when it took a year to claim just two wins in a row.

But it seems the superfan, who is from Oxford but lives in Spain, will be waiting a little longer.

Michael Carrick remains undefeated after five games as United’s interim coach as United will stay fourth in the league and out of all other competitions.

While the Hammers remain 18th two points from safety will play in the fourth round of the FA Cup next Sun.
