THE Zimbabwe Handball Federation is running workshops for coaches and referees in Bulawayo which will end on Sunday.
Bekezela Ncube, the technical director for the federation told Zimpapers Sports Hub that the event has attracted 83 participants from all over the country.
A total of 28 participants are taking part in the Level One coaching certificate, 37 Level One officiating and Level Two coaching six and as many in Level Two officiating.
Ncube described handball as a sport that has made great strides in spreading to all corners of the country with almost every tertiary, primary and secondary education institutions embracing the discipline.
