Harare City Council has launched its School of Excellence meant to equip council officials with skills to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.
Speaking at the inaugural city’s School of Excellence graduation held at a local hotel, Mayor Jacob Mafume said the institute is now part of council key departments that will be situated at the mayoral mansion.
“This institute will create skills that go beyond a certificate and make sure that council officials are fully equipped with the necessary tools in performing their duties,” he said.
Thirty-one students who studied Paralegal Studies were honoured with certificates from the Zimbabwe Open University while 20 students of customer experience at the Cultural Institute of Customer Management were awarded with certificates.
