WARD 8 residents have called for improved access to clean borehole water, better waste collection and a mobile clinic as the City of Harare prepares its 2027 budget.
The concerns were raised during a Ward 8 pre-budget consultative meeting held at Belapez Grounds on Friday.
The meeting allowed residents to highlight their priorities for consideration in the 2027 council budget.
Ward 8 Hunyani Councillor Knowledge Mutapaire said district officers from Hatfield and Waterfalls attended the meeting and heard the residents’ concerns.
“Residents said they want clean borehole water, skip bins and a mobile clinic where they can access free healthcare services,” he said.
