THE Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed that Hardrock FC’s appeal against a disciplinary ruling involving Dynamos has been dismissed by the Zifa Appeals Committee.
The appeal stemmed from a decision made by the PSL Disciplinary Committee on June 30, 2026, in a matter involving the two clubs.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the PSL said the Zifa Appeals Committee had delivered its verdict on July 30 after considering all the grounds raised by Hardrock.
“The Zifa Appeals Committee released the appeal verdict on the 30th of July 2026 having dealt with every ground of Appeal, both as to conviction and in the alternative, as to sentence,” said the PSL.
The appeals body found that none of the grounds advanced by Hardrock had sufficient legal merit to warrant overturning the disciplinary committee’s decision.
“Having found that every single one of them is unsupported by the applicable legal principles and is without merit, dismissed Appeal from Hardrock FC,” said the PSL.
The ruling effectively brings the matter to an end, with the result from the original match between Hardrock and Dynamos standing.
The PSL confirmed that the final score of the completed fixture remains Hardrock 1-2 Dynamos.
The outcome provides clarity on the status of the result following Hardrock’s attempt to challenge the disciplinary committee’s decision through the appeals process.
With the appeal now dismissed, Dynamos retain their 2-1 victory over Hardrock.
