HARDROCK closed their memorable 2025 campaign with a night that felt bigger than football.

The champions of the Central Region Soccer League gathered in Kwekwe for an awards ceremony that marked their promotion to the Premier Soccer League and celebrated the players who carried the club through a landmark season.

The room filled with applause as fans, former stars, executives and invited guests came together to recognise a team that had fought its way into the country’s top tier.

The Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Midlands Province, Owen Ncube, joined football legends, club officials and supporters for the occasion.

Munyaradzi Diro Nyenye won both the Player of the Year and the President’s Award. Goalkeeper Mathias Kigonya was honoured for a remarkable run between the posts after keeping 20 clean sheets in 24 matches and conceding only six times.

Donald Ngoma collected the Golden Boot after finishing with 15 goals.

The club also celebrated its emerging and consistent performers.

Players’ Player of the Year went to Lennox Mucheto. Johannes Sibanda was named Most Disciplined Player.

Rookie of the Year went to Divine Zulu, who scored six goals and fought his way into the first team ahead of more experienced forwards.

Veteran midfielder Devon Chafa took home the Cheer Leader of the Year award, while supporters chose Last Nyilenda as their Fan Favourite.

Philip Kaseke collected the Most Consistent Player award, and Tinashe Mashaireni won Goal of the Season.

Esrom Nyandoro, Benjani Mwaruwari, Ovidy Karuru, Harrington Shereni, Eric Chipeta and Gift Muzadzi were among the football icons who attended.
