HARDROCK Football Club’s fairy-tale debut season in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League has received a major boost after sealing a community partnership deal with gaming company, Beulabet.
The partnership was announced at Chahwanda on Saturday after Kelvin Kaindu’s men stretched their winning streak to seven games in the league with a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Bulawayo Chiefs.
Both parties said more details of benefits will be revealed later
The company’s Founder and Director Unesu Bingudza said the decision to partner with Hardrock was inspired by the energy, determination and class of the Kwekwe-based outfit.
“We are very excited about the partnership with Hardrock Football Club. Hardrock, as everyone can see, it is a team full of energy. They are going places and this partnership with them means quite a lot to us.
“We operate in Zimbabwe. Currently mostly of our presence is in Bulawayo but soon we will be opening more branches throughout the country as we continue to grow as a business,” said Bingudza.
“We expect to continue to just grow it from step to step, from glory to glory.”
Bingudza said the deal goes beyond football sponsorship, but is part of the company’s vision to plough back into the communities.
“As a business we obviously operate in the community and we see this partnership bringing back some of what we make out of the business back into the community to grow sports in Kwekwe, to grow sports in the Midlands and eventually to grow sports in the whole nation of Zimbabwe,” he said.
He paid tribute to the Kwekwe community for the warm reception at Chahwanda.
“To Hardrock and the Kwekwe community we obviously expect they will continue to support. They’ve been amazing. We’ve had a very good reception especially here at Chahwanda Stadium. And we wish for that to continue throughout the season and throughout the seasons to come as we continue to build on this partnership with Hardrock Football Club.
“But we always continue to encourage our customers to game or to play responsibly and to just know where to stop and just to know that this is for entertainment. It’s not a means to an end.”
