HARARE City coach Mark Harrison says his charges need to shift into top gear when they host Highlanders in a Castle Lager Premiership tie at Rufaro on Saturday.
They have lost their first two games, while Bosso have drawn their first two matches.
Harrison says there is no need to panic at the moment.
“We have started the season on a false note. Two defeats on the trot, it’s not a good sign. We have to start the season rolling sooner than later,” he said.
“We played FC Platinum in our opening match and, of course, they were fitter than us in terms of match fitness and we believed we would come out strongly in our second match.
“But, after taking a lead and showing good signs in the match, we lost our concentration and we were duly punished by Manica (Diamonds)
“We are a team with certain targets and I honestly think we need to up our act. We face Highlanders in our next match.
‘’They are a big club, obviously chasing their dreams, so the match won’t be easy. But, I believe we will give it our all to collect maximum points.’’
Dynamos, who were given a rude awakening by Hwange last weekend, face another daunting mission away to unbeaten Chicken Inn.
CAPS United host Chapungu at the National Sports Stadium.
The shortage of facilities means Mushowani and Black Rhinos will use the giant facility on the same day (Saturday), with the former hosting FC Platinum at 1pm, while the army team date Bulawayo Chiefs shortly after that match.
