POLICE in Bulawayo are seeking information that may lead to the location of three missing persons among them a South African man suspected to be in Zimbabwe.
The first person, Samuel Nthle Hara (54) went missing in October last year at his South African home and had stated that he wanted to visit Zimbabwe.
Bulawayo Provincial deputy police spokesperson, Inspector Abednico Ncube yesterday said Nthle has brown eyes, black hair and is about 1,7 metres tall.
“Nthle was last seen by the informant Johannes Sedumedi Hara on October 9 at his place of residence, number 70 Meintjies Street Schoemans Ville Hartbeesspoort, South Africa. He was stating that he wanted to visit Zimbabwe,” said Insp Ncube.
He appealed to anyone with information that may lead to Nthle’s location to contact Johannes Sedumedi Hara on 0772 802 821, Constable Ncube on 0774 426 435, ZRP Bulawayo Central on (02922) 715151 or any nearest police station.
The other missing person is Sifundo Nkala (18) of Hillside suburb who was last seen on December 7 last year.
“He was last seen by his father Dingizulu Gabela at their place of residence. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts may contact ZRP Hillside on (029) 2242426 or 2241161-3 or nearest police station,” said Insp Ncube.
He said Nkala is slim, light in complexion and was wearing a yellow-T-shirt, a pair of three quarter cream trousers and a pair of grey-bluish tackies when he went missing.
The third person police are looking for is Marvelous Mangoma (16) from Cowdray Park Suburb who is a Form 3 pupil at Prestige High School.
Police said the girl left home at around 9 PM on December 28 and never came back.
Her father Mr Francis Mangoma said he suspects a kombi driver from the same suburb knows her whereabouts.
He said his daughter was last seen walking with Themba Nyoni who is in his late 20s at 9PM before she disappeared.
“On 28 December last year, we spent the day well together at home. I left for work and my wife went to fetch some firewood. She went out to meet someone and l am told by a man who sells at a tuck-shop that they were together with Nyoni. They bought a packet of biscuits and a bottle of fanta drink. That was the last time they were seen,” he said.
