MR Nqobizitha Moyo has been officially installed as Headman Macebo under Chief Manguba in Bulilima District, Matabeleland South Province.
Headman Macebo was appointed to the traditional leadership position in August 2026 following the elevation of Chief Manguba from headman to chief in 2022.

The colourful installation ceremony was held at Headman Macebo’s homestead on Friday, where Chief Manguba formally installed him and outlined his responsibilities, which include overseeing community development initiatives, promoting social cohesion, preserving cultural values and assisting in resolving local disputes in accordance with customary law.
Headman Macebo is the 16th headman to be installed in the district. He was appointed in August alongside Headman Mahunu, who is also under Chief Manguba’s jurisdiction and is expected to be installed in December.
Other headmen in the district are Sikhathini, Takalinga, Bidi, Yalala, Ndolwane, Mzwanyana, Tshitaudze, Mazwaligwe, Mangubo, Hingwe, Mbimba, Senganyondo, Jetjeni, Muyengwa and Zidlaphi.
Bulilima District has six chieftainships, namely Chief Masendu, Chief Manguba, Chief Hikwa, Chief Madlambudzi, Chief Mphini and Chief Kandana.
The installation ceremony was attended by Chief Hikwa, the only female chief in the district, Chief Masendu, Industry and Commerce Minister Nqobizitha Ndlovu, Bulilima Constituency legislator and Zanu PF Central Committee member Cde Dingumuzi Phuti, who is also Deputy Minister of ICT, Postal and Courier Services, and Zanu PF Veterans League national political commissar Cde Ntombiyakhe Ndlovu.
Also in attendance were Zanu PF Bulilima District Coordinating Committee chairperson Cde Felix Ncube, as well as provincial and district party leaders, among other guests.
