Healthy homes show a success

Sunday Mail Reporter

THE two-day Healthy Homes and Garden Show was a success, as various small and medium enterprises exhibited their products and services at Zimparks Garden last week.

The maiden event — which was organised by Zimbabwe Newspapers Limited (Zimpapers) and the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (Zimparks) — had exhibitors who are into home supplies, interior design, hardware, landscaping and gardening services, among many other fields.

Said Zimpapers event co-ordinator Ms Spindiwe Mazo: “As you can see by the huge turnout of different organisations and companies here, the showcase will also help in improving networks between businesspeople and in growing their businesses.

“Our plan is that we do these events on a quarterly basis.”

Zimparks public relations manager Mr Tinashe Farawo said they were satisfied with the turnout.

“We are happy that people came out in their numbers. This is just the beginning. We hope to continue doing more exhibitions.

“As you can see, more companies, especially the small and medium enterprises have come in their numbers,” said Mr Farawo.

“We want to promote our tourism, and we also want to ensure that more people participate.

“We will liaise to even make it a monthly event,” he said.
