Help find 86-yr-old missing for a year

POLICE in Matabeleland North are appealing for assistance from members of the public to locate an 86-year-old man who has been missing for close to a year.

Mqgibelo Amos Mpala of Ndlovu village under Chief Mabhikwa went missing on June 23, 2017.

The Officer Commanding Lupane District, Chief Superintendent Edgar Dhliwayo, said Mpala was last seen leaving his homestead heading to a nearby bush.

“He is chocolate skinned, with a white beard, gray hair and is about 1.6 metres tall. He was last seen wearing a khaki jacket, a pair of khaki trousers, purple shirt and a pair of yellow slippers,” he said.

Chief Supt Dhliwayo said anyone with information on Mpala’s whereabouts can contact police on (09) 75135 or their nearest police station.
