Herentals U20 host newcomers Omnia

HERENTALS Under-20 will be hoping for redemption in the ZIFA Northern Region Division One when they host new boys Omnia at Motor Action Sports Club tomorrow.

The Paul Benza coached side has been a pale shadow of the team that pushed Simba Bhora and Golden Eagles all the way in last year’s title race, when they finished third.

The Young Students will face an equally struggling Omnia, who are in their first season in the second-tier. Omnia, however, have also managed to give a good run to some of their opponents.

The matches continue on Saturday when the battle of uniformed forces pitting Commando Bullets and Black Mambas erupt at Commando Barracks.

A Mashonaland West Derby is also looming as Lloyd Mutasa’s MWOS face Come Again, who reportedly parted ways with their head coach Bigboy Mawiwi.

MWOS have transformed themselves into title candidates.

Golden Eagles will play host to Karoi United, who are under the guidance of Levison Selous while Richard Chunga’s Chinhoi Stars host winless Concession United.
