He’s not my son, prophet Madungwe disowns man

PROPHET Madungwe has disowned a man who is claiming that he is the son of the controversial preacher.

The man, who has identified himself as Ezee, went on social media to claim that he was Madungwe’s son.

His real name is Killian Chipengo.

He claimed he travelled to Harare specifically to try and locate the prophet but his efforts, including attempts to reach him by phone, were not successful.

However, Prophet Madungwe has shot down the man’s claims.

“I don’t have a child out of wedlock,” he said.

“I reached out to the person and spoke to his father, about the video, and they both apologised.

‘He looks like me but he is not my child or relative.

“ For the record I do not have a child out of wedlock.

“His father told me that his family members have been calling him over the matter saying your son has found his real father.

“My wife also asked me to confess over this and it is so disturbing.

“Such skits are damaging and must not be tolerated for they bear emotional effects and divide families.”

In a viral video, Ezee addressed the controversial, saying he has been looking for him.

“Prophet Madungwe, I am your son and (I’m) in Harare looking for you, you have not been answering my calls,” said Ezee.

“Someone (must) convey this message to him.”

Within hours, the post sparked a frenzy of reactions, with online users divided between those convinced the claim is real and others accusing Ezee of chasing clout.”
