Hiddink had to hold some of them back during the chaotic scenes that followed the fiery 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea’s interim manager was bundled over and fell down some steps during the initial scenes at the mouth of the tunnel at the final whistle.
But he was forced to step in as Chelsea and Tottenham players threatened each other with a stream of insults inside the dressing room area.
Hiddink told them: “I’m your manager, I’m your boss, get in the dressing room” during the explosive confrontations between the players.
When things eventually calmed down, Tottenham chief Mauricio Pochettino and Chelsea skipper John Terry held secret peace talks.
Pochettino, who lost control at times on the touchline, took Terry into one of the side rooms at Stamford Bridge.
Terry, one of the players attempting to restore order out on the pitch and in the dressing rooms, was thanked by Poch for trying to keep the peace. — The Sun
