HIGHLANDERS’ developmental side, Bosso 90, capped off their season with celebration of their rising stars at the End-of-Year Awards, an event made possible through the support of SendHome.

The successful ceremony, held at the Highlanders clubhouse, honoured the young players who have shown promise, discipline, and excellence throughout the campaign.

Lewis Mzondo was voted Players’ Player of the Season, while Ackim Nkomo claimed the Goal of the Season award.

Romeo Zimba, who found the net five times, finished as Top Goal Scorer, with Andile Matekesa named Most Improved Player.

The Most Disciplined Player accolade went to Curtis Mangurenje, while Tafara Mhaka walked away with the award for Most Assists.

In defence, Sipho Ncube was recognised as Defender of the Season, and Bonginkosi Karuma earned the title of Most Promising Player.

The event was made possible through sponsorship from SendHome, a partnership facilitated by Alexander Maseko, who encouraged the club to continue prioritising its youth structures. Maseko expressed concern over the limited support often directed toward Bosso 90, despite the team’s important role in grooming future first-team players.
